3 Comedor Fundacion Servidoras Madres para los Abandonado en las Calles - Sisters Blanca Ines Rincón & Ana Victoria coordinate this community center with the support of the Diocesan Food Bank. It currently serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner to about 350 Venezuelan refugees (homeless, elderly & Venezuelans). With only three volunteers, they serve food in plastic bags and use a system of tickets and numbers from 1 to 100 to keep track of their beneficiaries. Only 25-30 people can eat inside at a time. The rest of the people line up for blocks and wait for their turn. The sisters adopted two elderly men in a wheelchair who now live in the center. The center also provides clothing and medicine, etc.
