1 Casa Paso Divina Providencia - Father David Cañas coordinates this food distribution center with the support of the Dioceses of Cúcuta Diocesan Food Bank and the World Food Program (WFP. Casa Paso currently serves breakfast and lunch to about 2500 Venezuelan refugees every day. Father David Cañas also coordinates and facilitates the donation of corn flour and tuna to church organizations to make 1,500 arepas per day in San Antonio (Venezuela) to be distributed to hungry Venezuelans. Additionally, Father Cañas provides food to 20 dining rooms located in the cities Caracas, Petare, and Los Teques in Venezuela.

The dining room counts with 800 volunteers from groups of different churches or people who donate their half day to support the cause. These volunteers are distributed among 6 days of the week. All items in the dining room have been donations, including kitchen utensils, chairs, and tables.

Currently, they are installing bathrooms, a project supported by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR (ACNUR). The dining room also counts with the support of the Diocesan Food Bank.

They do not give cash vouchers to the refugee population because they are serving a floating population that does not have a place to cook the food that they would buy. They are currently needing bread and oatmeal for breakfast.
