Phase 5 Hope For Venezuelan Refugees “Soup Meal” Program at Punto de Apoyo Hermanos Caminantes Venezolanos y Colombianos - Venezuelans are struggling to survive during the worst political and economic crisis in history caused by the Nicolas Maduro regime.

The shortage of food and medicine, lack of essential services, a collapsed hospital system, no jobs, rising crime and corruption, and a minimum monthly salary equivalent to $3.50, only enough to buy a kilogram of cheese and a liter of milk, has forced 1 in 7 Venezuelan to flee to neighboring countries resulting in the largest displacement of refugees in the history of Latin America and the Western Hemisphere, and the biggest forced migration crisis caused by dictatorship and corruption in the world, second only to the Syrian refugee crisis, which has suffered from war for more than eight years.
