Cristal Montañez speaks with Venezuelan refugees at Comedor Fundación Nueva Vida in Cúcuta

As we continue the assessment of the humanitarian crisis in Cúcuta, Colombia, Our next stop was Comedor Fundación Nueva Vida. This humble center is filled with dedicated, loving and compassionate volunteers is led by the Sisters Patricia Celis and Nei Maria Toro of the Comunidad Religiosa Femenina Misioneras Nueva Vida and serves 225 lunches daily to the Venezuelan refugees.

Cristal Montanez delivered a message of solidarity and hope to the Venezuelan families forced to leave Venezuela in search of a better life in Cúcuta. 

The Hope for Venezuelan Refugees team had the opportunity to listen to some of the Venezuelan refugees stories filled with suffering and struggle to survive as they flee from a tyrant and despotic regimen.
