Hope For Venezuelan Refugees - Every day, hundreds of Venezuelan refugees “caminantes” cross on foot the Venezuela-Colombia border. They are exposed to extreme temperatures, from the scorching sun of Cúcuta to the inclement cold temperatures of the paramo and high-risk and vulnerable situations during their long journeys. Thanks to donations from Action4Help, volunteers at Punto de Apoyo Hermanos Caminantes Venezolanos and Colombianos in Pamplonita, and Albergue Vanessa in Pamplona, distributed clothing items to Venezuelan refugees in transit “caminantes” on the humanitarian route “la ruta del caminante.”
