Our team successfully implemented Phase 10 of the Hope For Venezuelan Refugees Soup & Hot Meal Program, building on lessons learned from Phases 1-9. We managed the weekly food procurement, transportation, and distribution. Our Project Manager assessed inventory and processed meal registration data by gender and age each week, as detailed in this report. Thanks to Midland Energy, Houston Karachi Sister City Association, Alliance for Disaster Relief, United4Change, and individuals, Phase 10 of the Hope For Venezuelan Refugees program procured and delivered 6,226,41 lb (2,830.19 kg), providing 9,152 soup & hot meals. This effort impacted 4,576 Venezuelan refugees in transit and volunteers while offering hope and access to the fundamental human right to food. The Hope for Venezuelan Refugees Project has become a beacon of hope, actively promoting peace by addressing food insecurity and providing access to essential nourishment, which helps alleviate desperation and conflict, fostering a more stable and harmonious environment. The project supports the local economy by strategically investing in locally sourced food, creating a positive ripple effect that benefits the entire community.
