Comedor Parroquial Sagrada Familia, Cúcuta
Can you imagine cooking over wood fires for 450 people every day because you can't afford the high gas prices? Father Humberto Nieto would rather use the little money available to purchase food to feed the Venezuelan refugees and the local elderly than pay for the high gas prices. He and his dedicated team of volunteers cook 450 lunches over wood fires every day.

Father Nieto and his dedicated team of volunteers cook 450 lunches over wood fires every day. The Comedor Parroquial Sagrada Familia located in La Libertad in Cúcuta seats 50 people at a time while the rest of the people wait in line for their turn to eat. We give our sincere appreciation to Father Nieto for his passion and determination to help our Venezuelan migrants.
