Hope For Venezuelan Refugees Phase 5 - This family of 30 departed Venezuelan on foot several days ago before reaching the city of Pamplona in Colombia. They are traveling to Peru, and it will take them more than three weeks on foot to get to this neighboring country.

The shortage of food and medicine, lack of essential services, a collapsed hospital system, no jobs, rising crime and corruption in Venezuela has forced 1 in 7 Venezuelan to flee to neighboring countries resulting in the largest displacement of refugees in the history of Latin America and the Western Hemisphere, and the biggest forced migration crisis caused by dictatorship and corruption in the world, second only to the Syrian refugee crisis, which has suffered from war for more than eight years.
