I was honored to participate in the "Women Leader's at the UN" event The Front Line of Change: Women Leaders and the United Nations on June 6, 2021, and was proud to represent the Hope For Venezuelan Refugees Project and the Rotary e-Club of Houston in this important event.
I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the Committee on Teaching about the United Nations for inviting me to participate in the "No Hunger Panel"and for the opportunity to share a brief on our Hope For Venezuelan Refugees Project work on the ground to help respond to the food insecurity and hunger affecting thousand of Venezuelans refugees, migrants, and walkers "caminantes" in Colombia who are fleeing from the lack of food, essential services, and the violence caused by the Nicolas Maduro regime.
