Rotarian Cristal Montañéz Baylor participation at the Women Leader's at the UN event - The Front Line of Change: Women Leaders and the United Nations on June 6, 2021. Cristal shared a brief on the impact of the Hope For Venezuelan Refugees Project work on the ground to help respond to the food insecurity and hunger affecting thousands of Venezuelans refugees, migrants, and walkers "caminantes" in Cúcuta and Pamplona in Colombia who are fleeing from the lack of food, essential services, and the violence caused by the Nicolas Maduro regime.
Cristal was honored to represent the Hope For Venezuelan Refugees Project and the Rotary e-Club of Houston in the No Hunger panel facilitated by the Committee on Teaching about the United Nations.
