Phase 5 Hope for Venezuelan Refugees Project - The distribution of boxes of hydrating dry shampoo foam donated by I Support the Girls Houston through Action4Help benefitted hundreds of refugees and migrants on the Cúcuta-Pamplona humanitarian route.
The video shows Henry Alberto Sandoval, manager of Hope For Venezuelan Refugees, and the volunteers at Carpa Esperanza, Albergue Fundar 1, and Punto de Apoyo Hermanos Caminantes Venezolanos y Colombianos teaching the refugees in transit “caminantes” how to use the hydrating dry shampoo foam to clean their scalp and hair. Many of them had not had access to the use of shampoo since they began their long walk searching for a better life for themselves and their families. Volunteers at Carpa Esperanza also wash and heal the wounded feet of the "walkers." The noble and compassionate work of the volunteers has brought some relief and hope to our migrants.
