Phase 6 Hope for Venezuelan Refugees Project, January 29, 2022 (part 1) - Thank you, Venezolanos en Ohio!!

The Hope For Venezuelan Refugees Team expresses our sincere appreciation to the Venezolanos in Ohio, led by Sonia Martinez-Moreno and Yuri Muller, for their generous donation of boxes filled with shoes, socks, and hats for Venezuelans caminantes in Colombia. Our volunteers distributed the donated items to vulnerable Venezuelan caminantes arriving at the Punto Apoyo Hermanos Caminantes Venezolanos y Colombianos in Pamplonita, and to caminantes in-transit on the ruta humanitaria Cúcuta-Pamplona.

The new shoes, socks, and hats will help ease their long and challenging journeys searching for a better life.

Thank you again for impacting the lives of our Venezuelan refugees, migrants, and caminantes during the largest exodus and migration in the Western Hemisphere aggravated by the global pandemic.
