Phase 6 Hope For Venezuelan Refugees Project Soup Program, March 2, 2022 - Finally, our vendor delivered the order of food commodities scheduled to be delivered last week for Punto de Apoyo Hermanos Caminantes Venezolanos y Colombianos y Albergue Vanessa. The delay was caused by the National Liberation Army (ELN) guerrilla arm strike from February 23 – 26, 2022, in Colombia, affecting civilians throughout the country. Resulting in a delay in the transportation of food commodities and products from other cities to Cúcuta, including the chicken and fresh vegetables we buy for our soup program.
