Phase 6 Hope For Venezuelan Refugees Project- Distribution of Hygiene Kits in Albergue Vanessa.

Venezuelan refugee women, men, and children walk for days from their cities of origin in Venezuela to other cities in Colombia or neighboring countries without money or food. Most refugees in-transit “caminantes” don’t have access to hygiene products, including feminine hygiene products, soap, and disinfectants. Many of them have not taken a proper shower in days.

Thanks to the DC Rotary Club, hundreds of personal hygiene and disease prevention kits were distributed to women, girls, and men refugees by our team working with the volunteers at Albergue Vanessa.
