Phase 6 Hope for Venezuelan Refugees Soup Program, February 14, 2022 - Venezuelan refugees in transit “caminantes” fleeing the devastating economic and complex humanitarian walk for days to various cities in Colombia and other Latin American countries.

This group of caminantes is passing by El Alto de Pamplona, where Rosmery of Centro de Apoyo Mery shares a bowl of chicken soup with arepa and a warm drink. They are getting ready to initiate a dangerous, risky walk through the Berlin Paramo, the highest point of the range of the Andean mountains with freezing temperatures.
