Cristal Montañéz Baylor, International Coordinator Hope Fo Venezuelan Refugees Project - I am very grateful for the invitation of Rotary International and the Rotary Action Group for Refugees, Forced Displacement, and Migration to speak at the “Responding to the Refugee and Displacement Crisis,” breakout session panel at the 2022 Rotary International Convention in Houston.

My presentation shared photographic evidence of how the Hope For Venezuelan Refugees Project responds to the food insecurity and hunger crisis affecting thousands of Venezuelan refugees and migrants in transit in the Cúcuta-Pamplona humanitarian route in Colombia during the COVID-19 pandemic and the largest exodus in Latin American and the Caribbean.
